On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, two notable Telugu films and a dubbed film hit the theaters. The trend of first weekend collections shows that “Gaami” is a clear winner by a mile.
The film “Gaami” starring Vishwak Sen grossed big money in Telugu states as well as the United States. The film was well-received by both multiplex audiences and young people. Thus, it made a lot of money in Hyderabad, Vizag, and other cities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film’s success in the United States has also contributed significantly to its high gross among these three films.
“Bhimaa” on the other hand earned a respectable sum for a Gopichand film. Given that all of Gopichand’s recent films have failed spectacularly, the openings for “Bhimaa” should be considered quite impressive. The film performed better on its second and third days. Thus, the film earned approximately Rs 11 crore in its first weekend.
The dubbed film “Premalu” is just okay.
