Vijay Deverakonda should focus on scripts!

Vijay Deverakonda

The much-hyped “Family Star” turned out to be a disappointment. This is a massive flop. In North America, his previous film “Kushi”, which considered as an average grosser, grossed a whopping $1.82 million. This one will end up grossing less than $900k. That explains that the audience has rejected this film.

It should be noted that Vijay Deverakonda is one of the few Telugu stars with a strong presence in both the United States and Tamil Nadu, in addition to Telugu states. However, the film bombed in both the United States and Tamil Nadu. We cannot deny that there is a coordinated campaign to defame Vijay Deverakonda and his films, but it is also true that “Family Star” flopped primarily due to its poor content and boring narration by Parasuram Petla.

When we look at his recent films, we get the impression that he is either carried away by the names of the directors and production houses with which he has collaborated, or that he is not properly evaluating a script.

He achieved massive success and popularity when he collaborated with newcomers and emerging directors. This resulted in “Pelli Choopulu”, “Taxiwaala”, “Arjun Reddy”, and “Geetha Govindam”. However, after flops such as “Dear Comrade” and “World Famous Lover,” he stopped working with new directors and began collaborating with established directors and production houses. But these directors have also disappointed him.

Ultimately, a strong script brings name, fame, and success. Consider “Jersey”. The film starring Nani was not a blockbuster, but it did well financially. But more than that it raised the profile of both Nani and director Gautam Tinnanuri, and also won a National Award. A film should either be a box office success or receive critical acclaim. Vijay Deverakonda’s priority should be this.

The talented actor should forget about trolls and concentrate on scripts and better content. He should also stop doing excessive promotion without considering the content. That is causing additional harm to him.

Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, NTR, and other top stars have all delivered a series of duds at some point in their careers, but they recovered after realising their mistakes.

Unlike Vijay Deverakonda, Telugu cinema’s top stars enjoy strong support from their caste and region. Vijay Deverakonda lacks in that area, so he must work harder than other stars.
