Anushka Shetty’s much-awaited film “Ghaati” has been postponed at the last minute. There had been speculation about the lack of promotional activity, and the reason has now come to light. The film has been postponed indefinitely.
No new release date has been set.
Originally scheduled for release in April 2025, the film was later pushed to July 11 due to delays in post-production. However, when the final copy and complete edit were ready, the makers found that some of the visual effects in crucial scenes did not meet the desired standards.
As a result, the team decided to postpone the release again and redo the visual effects work.
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Vishwambhara” recently faced similar issues.
“Ghaati” will announce its new release date only after the VFX work is completed and Amazon Prime, which has acquired the streaming rights, agrees to the revised schedule. The film is directed by Krish.
