Tell us about ‘Hi Nanna’..

After my first Telugu film, ‘Sita Ramam,’ I received this offer, and I was blown away by the director’s narrative and the story. My first Telugu film was a period drama and this is a modern story. I play Yashna, a youthful, sophisticated woman.

It’s a moving tale with numerous layers. At the filming stage, you can tell whether a film is going to be good or not. The set seemed wonderful and lovely. The film will touch your heart.

How was your experience working with Nani?

Throughout the film’s production, Nani has been extremely helpful. He offered some useful suggestions and advise. He’s a fantastic co-star. Acting beside him improves the co-stars’ performances.

How did the film’s new director handle the story?

I didn’t get the impression we were working with a new director. Shouryuv, the director, has a clear mind and a knowledge of the art and craft. On December 7, the audience will witness the magic he made. It’s a visual and emotional feast.

You rose to prominence with only a few flicks…

I need to reach new heights and play more complex characters. I’d be delighted if audiences remembered my roles as Sita and Yashna even if they forgot my name. Every day, I strive to improve myself.

You’ve also made your OTT debut. Will you continue doing OTT content?

A web series takes a lot of effort and dedication. I am currently just interested in Telugu and Bollywood films. I have ‘Family Star’ with Vijay Deverakonda in Telugu. A few more are on the way.
