The Venkatesh, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Meenkashi Chaudhary starrer “Sankranthiki Vasthunam,” directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Shirish, is scheduled for release on January 14th. As part of the promotions, Victory Venkatesh provided details about the film at a press conference. Excerpts.
Your promotion of ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’ has been exceedingly vigorous. This is so unlike you. What excited you this time?
The film represents another significant milestone in my career. It is a novel genre that incorporates a minor element of crime. The film has a lot of entertaining elements. The majority of my films released during the Sankranti period in my career have performed exceptionally well. I anticipate this film will perform exceptionally well at the box office. Director Anil has assembled a vibrant team. We aimed to innovate our promotional strategies. I am pleased that the audiences are greatly enjoying the promotions.
Whose idea was it to have you croon a song in this film?
Upon hearing the song “Blockbuster Sankranthi” at two o’clock in the night, I danced to it instantly. The song exhibited an intense vibrancy. I stated that I would sing it myself for the sake of entertainment. The voice was satisfactory that day. The presence of English vocabulary in lyrics made my job simple (laughs).
Which aspect of the ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunnam’ captivated your interest?
Ex-cop, ex-girlfriend, ex(cellent) wife… This line appeared somewhat novel to me. I believed it to be a film with a minimal guarantee. Director Anil and I have a wonderful working relationship as well as personal bonding. I knew how Anil would present this line upon hearing it. My performance will be innovative as we implemented a novel approach. My comedic timing will vary due to the several novel scenes, and the humor is not formulaic. We have resolved to thoroughly experiment with a novel approach.
Do successes and failures impact you?
We must work with integrity and sincerity. The success or failure of a project is beyond our control. I refrain from contemplating matters beyond our control.
What is the reason for your frequent posting of positive quotes on your social media accounts?
I consider myself to be exceedingly optimistic in life. Overanalysis is superfluous. Beginning the day with an optimistic mindset can render life considerably more manageable.
Is “Rana Naidu 2” the web series coming out?
Yes, the premiere will take place in March. I completed my dubbing work for it.
