Director Koratala Siva opened up about the status of Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan starrer ‘Acharya’. He has mentioned that the movie needs to be shot for another 20 days. It is a long way before breaking the pumpkin (the ceremony for the last day of the shoot).
Koratala Siva is hoping to resume the shoot of ‘Acharya’ in July once the curve of corona cases flatten. The second wave of COVID-19 has halted all the shootings in April this year.
Koratala has been working on this project for close to three years. Frustrated with long delays, he wants to move out of this film to commence his next with NTR. But it will take longer than expected for him to begin the next film.
‘Acharya’ has Megastar Chiranjeevi playing the titular character and Ram Charan appears in a guest role named Siddha. Pooja Hegde has been paired up with Charan, while Kajal Aggarwal is Chiranjeevi’s Jodi.
