One of the biggest movie projects announced recently is AA22xA6, which is the first film in the combination of Allu Arjun and director Atlee. This will be Allu Arjun’s 22nd film (#AA22) in his career and the sixth directorial (#A6) for Atlee. The film is being bankrolled by leading Tamil production house Sun Pictures.
While the makers have announced the film with a video on the occasion of Allu Arjun’s birthday (April 8) and gave us a sneak peek of the massive production and the vision of the director, no other updates have been given about other cast members yet. Hence, fans and media have been speculating about various names for the main female lead.
As Telugucinema.com exclusively reported earlier, the film features three main heroines and two other important women characters.
Atlee is completing the casting for these three primary female lead characters. Our sources say he has already done a test on Murnal Thakur. He has already locked her in. This is her first pairing with Allu Arjun. The official announcement is expected shortly.

Mrunal Thakur has so far acted in multiple Telugu films that include “Sita Ramam,” “Hi Nanna,” “Family Star,” “Kalki 2898 AD” (cameo), and the upcoming “Dacoit.”
Janvhi Kapoor’s name was the first one to come out even before the film’s announcement. Atlee wanted Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead from the beginning. Her casting has also been finalized, but a look test has not been done yet. She made her Telugu debut in “Devara” and is currently working alongside Ram Charan in “Peddi.” So, if she signs, it will be her third Telugu biggie.
The AA22xA6 will commence the shooting in August. Currently, Allu Arjun is preparing to build his physique for the role. He recently roped in physical fitness trainer Lloyd Stevens.
