A day after announcing the film’s postponement officially, the makers of ‘Acharya’ have come up with another update. They have announced a new release date – April 1st, 2022.
The film will release on the occasion of the Ugadi festival, the Telugu New Year.
Starring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the titular character, ‘Acharya’ has been in the making for a long time as a delay caused due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic period. The film also stars Ram Charan in a lengthy role. Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde are the leading women in this action drama.
Produced by Niranjan Reddy, ‘Acharya’ has music by Mani Sharma. The makers will have to resume promotions afresh as the release date nears.
Meanwhile, Koratala Siva has already announced his next film with NTR.
