One biggie that has been struggling to find a perfect release date is Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Acharya’. It has been postponed a couple of times. At last, the film is planning to release on December 17th. Interestingly, the makers of ‘Pushpa’ have locked this date and have been promoting it accordingly.
If ‘Acharya’ releases on 17th December, the release date of ‘Pushpa’ will be changed. We have to see how things turn out.
Director Siva Koratala wants ‘Acharya’ to get released before Sankranthi as he needs to work on his next film starring NTR. He has stuck with ‘Acharya’ for the past three years.
Due to the prolonged pandemic, all biggies are struggling to fix release dates. They have changed the dates many times.
‘Acharya’ also stars Ram Charan in an extended guest role. The film has Chiranjeevi in a titular character, while Kajal Aggarwal plays his leading lady. Pooja Hegde is paired opposite Ram Charan. Mani Sharma has given the music.
