Hyderabad-based socialite Shilpa Chowdary cheated several high-profile businessmen and celebrities after taking money. She and her husband are in police custody in the cheating case. The court denied them bail as well.
The latest victim in Shilpa Chowdary’s multi-crore cheating case is Priyadarshini, wife of actor Sudheer Babu. Priyadarshini is also sister to superstar Mahesh Babu.
She was duped by Shilpa Chowdhary. Priyadarshini has filed a police complaint against Shilpa Chowdhary for taking Rs. 2.9 crores as hand loan and cheating her.
Shilpa had hosted Kitty Parties and had allegedly collected huge sums of money from the people who had attended her parties.
