On Sunday, rumors about senior actor Sharada’s death began to spread on social media. A section of media also published the news. Sharada angrily responded to these mischievous reports. In an audio statement released to media, she said, “I am alive and kicking.”
Counteracting the rumors, she added, “Don’t believe WhatsApp forwards. I am alive and doing well. Oka vedava chesina paniki andaru suffer ayyaru (an idiot’s act of spreading misinformation caused pain to all). I am doing well, and I request my well-wishers and fans not to worry about it.”
“It is wrong to spread malicious reports about any person. I hope that those idiots mend their behavior at least now,” she concluded.
Sharada is a veteran actress who had played in hundreds of movies in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada Hindi, and Tamil languages.
She won the national award as the best actor thrice. The 76-year-old veteran actress has retired from her acting career.
