After Pawan Kalyan, it’s Karthi: Nagarjuna
Akkineni Nagarjuna and Tamil superstar Karthi share a great bond since they shared screen space in ‘Oopiri’. Karthi’s upcoming film, Sadar, is being presented by Annapurna Studios in Telugu. At the film’s pre-release event, Nagarjuna spoke about Karthi’s achievements as a star.
“Karthi’s brother Suriya is a superstar. It’s rare for an actor to come out of the shadows of a superstar brother and stand as a big star. Only two actors have done this before. One is Megastar Chiranjeevi’s younger brother Pawan Kalyan, and the other is Sivarajkumar’s younger brother late Puneeth Rajkumar. Karthi is the third star,” said Nagarjuna.
“By donning different roles and taking up varied genres, he became a superstar like his brother Surya. Karthi not only speaks Telugu but also sings songs in our language. Such a rare talent,” Nagarjuna further added.
Karthi thanked Nagarjuna for his support. ‘Sardar’ is a spy thriller that hits theaters on October 21.
