Superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are a hit pair. They first teamed up for Shankar’s ‘Robo’, which was a sensational blockbuster. Nearly 12 years later, they are paring up.
Aishwarya reportedly confirmed her dates for Rajinikanth’s next film to be directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar of ‘Beast’. The 48-year-old actress will play the 70-year-old superstar’s wife in the film.
The untitled film will also feature Ramya Krishna and Priyanka Arul Mohan in other roles. The regular shoot is expected to begin in August.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has cut down her acting assignments drastically. She recently wrapped Mani Ratnam’s period drama ‘PS’.
