Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin release postponed for Peddi

Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming film “Lenin” has once again changed its release plan. The makers have officially announced that the film will now hit theaters on June 26 instead of its earlier scheduled date of May 1.

The team stated that the decision was taken considering the release of Ram Charan’s “Peddi,” which is arriving in theaters on April 30. Emphasizing the mutual respect between the actors, the makers mentioned that Akhil and Ram Charan share a great bond, and the postponement comes out of regard for that relationship.

“Lenin” features Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead and is set against a rural backdrop. The film is directed by Murali Kishore Abburu and is being produced by Sithara Entertainments in association with Manam banner.

Music is composed by Thaman S. The film is currently in the final stages of production and is now aiming for a monsoon season release.
