Akhil Akkineni has not taken up a single film in the past two years. Disappointed with the result of his much-hyped action thriller, Agent, released in April 2023, he stayed away from arc lights until now.
Two years later, he is gearing up to start a new film, #Akhil6. On April 8, he will announce his next film on the occasion of his birthday.
The film will be directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, who earlier directed “Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha” which featured Kiran Abbavaram as the lead hero. The title will be revealed through a video as well.
Interestingly, Sithara Entertainments and Annapurna Studios jointly produce this film. The production companies have joined hands for the first time. This will be Akhil Akkineni’s 6th film and is said to be a rural drama. More details are awaited.
