Today, Prabhas is a Pan-Indian star. His films get released in a big way in all languages besides Telugu. He is also a force to reckon with in the North Indian market. Proof: the collections of ‘Saaho’, the film was a massive hit in Hindi, flop in all other languages.
Prabhas has already announced that ‘Radhe Shyam’ would hit the screens worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages on 30th July 2021. Now, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has also locked the same date for his new movie ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. The film will directly clash with Prabhas’s pan-India film.
The maverick filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself is a huge star, a big brand name. So, he is not worrying about Prabhas’s movie. Lockdown has made Bollywood films clashing with other movies as there are fewer ‘free’ Fridays available. Bhansali has chosen July 30th for this reason.
The shoot of ‘Gangubai’ has been completed. Alia Bhatt is essaying the role of a lady don.
