Alia Bhatt came down to Hyderabad to participate in the shooting of a promotional song for ‘RRR’ last week. She wrapped her part and left for Mumbai on Saturday night.
Alia Bhatt plays freedom warrior Alluri Sita Ramaraju’s wife. Ram Charan is Alluri Sita Ramaraju in the film. It has been her dream to act in Rajamouli’s direction. Thus she got one of the female lead roles in this epic drama.
‘RRR’ is Alia Bhatt’s maiden South Indian film. Until now, she has acted in Bollywood films only. She is also being considered for another major South Indian biggie.
Rajamouli is making ‘RRR’ on a lavish scale with an estimated budget of Rs 400 crore. Produced by DVV Danayya. Slated to hit the screens on October 13, 2021, ‘RRR’ has done a whopping Rs 700 crore pre-release business.
MM Keeravani is scoring the music. The film’s first song will be released in August.
