After months of speculation and extensive discussions, Allu Arjun and director Atlee are officially teaming up for their first-ever collaboration. The project has been finalized, with the production house agreeing to all terms.
The Tamil production house Sun Pictures will bankroll the film, marking one of its most ambitious ventures. Allu Arjun will receive a record-breaking remuneration along with a stake in the film, while Atlee has secured the paycheck he demanded. The movie will be made on a massive budget of ₹600–700 crore, a significant milestone in the director’s career.
Interestingly, this collaboration was initially planned during the making of Pushpa 2, but it was put on hold due to budget and remuneration concerns. However, after Pushpa 2 shattered box office records and solidified Allu Arjun’s dominance, especially in North India, Atlee reconsidered. With Sun Pictures now willing to meet the star’s demands (Rs 175 Cr paycheck), the budget has been significantly increased from ₹400 crore to ₹700 crore.
Sources reveal that the film will feature multiple heroines, with two likely to be international actresses. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music, adding to the film’s grand scale.
A formal announcement is set to take place on Allu Arjun’s birthday, April 8, while regular shooting is expected to commence in June.
