The upcoming family drama “Shashtipoorthi,” starring Rajendra Prasad, is set for release soon. With music composed by the legendary Ilaiyaraaja, the film has now begun its promotions by unveiling the song “Yedho Ye Janmalodo.”
A major highlight of this song is that the lyrics have been penned by Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravani.
While Keeravani has written lyrics for films before, this marks the first time he has written for a song composed by Ilaiyaraaja. Adding to the excitement, leading music director Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) officially launched the track.
“Yedho Ye Janmalodo” features Rupyesh and Aakanksha Singh as the romantic leads. Director Pavan Prabha expressed his excitement about the song, saying, “The combination of Raja sir’s tune, Keeravani sir’s lyrics, and Ananya Bhat’s soulful voice has resulted in an extraordinary track.”
“Shashtipoorthi” boasts a stellar cast, including Rajendra Prasad, Archana, Rupyesh, Aakanksha Singh, Achyuth Kumar, and Tenali Shakuntala in key roles.
