Allu Arjun is currently busy with director Atlee’s ambitious sci-fi project, tentatively titled #AA22A6, which is being shot at a brisk pace in Mumbai. The actor aims to complete the film’s shoot by mid-2026.
With that timeline in mind, Allu Arjun has begun meeting multiple directors to finalize his next project, which he hopes to put on floors in late 2026. He has been in discussions with several top filmmakers who are eager to collaborate with him or already have script concepts ready. However, no film has been officially locked yet.
So far, Prashanth Neel, Nelson Dilipkumar, Basil Joseph, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and now Lokesh Kanagaraj have presented story ideas. Though recent media reports claimed that Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film may take off next year, our sources clarify that nothing has been finalized.
At this stage of his career, Allu Arjun is focused on selecting films with strong pan-Indian appeal and the potential to expand his global fanbase. Whether it is Lokesh Kanagaraj, Basil Joseph, or any other filmmaker, the final approval will only come once a fully developed script draft is presented.
Until then, all these directors remain in the proposal stage.
