Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, has slammed the ruling Telangana state government for mishandling the whole episode of actor Allu Arjun’s arrest. He specifically pointed out how police took the actor from his bedroom without giving him time to change his dress.
Bandi Sanjay Kumar, while terming the death of a woman in the stampede as tragic, blamed the state government for not taking enough measures to provide security for the premiere of “Pushpa 2” when the star attended it.
He said Allu Arjun and his fans deserve dignity, not chaos.
On December 4, Sandhya Theater arranged midnight premiere shows for “Pushpa 2” and Allu Arjun attended it. The stampede resulted in the death of a woman and the injuries of her son. The police named Allu Arjun as an accused in the stampede case. Chikkadapalli police arrested the ‘Pushpa 2’ star on Friday.
