Peddi joins $2 million club in North America
Ram Charan’s “Peddi” is continuing its impressive run at the North American box office. The film crossed the $2 million milestone on Friday, becoming one of the fastest films in the actor’s career to achieve the feat overseas.
Directed by Buchi Babu, “Peddi” premiered in North America on Wednesday (June 3) and grossed around $1.5 million from premiere shows alone, marking the biggest opening in Ram Charan’s career as a solo hero. The film maintained strong momentum on its first day (Thursday), taking its cumulative gross to approximately $1.9 million.
Within just a few hours of its second day, Peddi added another $200k, pushing its total past the $2 million mark. Trade estimates suggest the film could finish the day with a cumulative gross of around $2.8 million to $3 million in North America.
