Ram Charan-starrer Peddi has completed two days of its theatrical run after premiering on the night of June 3. The sports drama also marks the debut of producer Venkata Satish Kilaru, who bankrolled the film under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner.
Expressing his happiness over the film’s reception, Venkata Satish Kilaru said the audience response, particularly from family viewers, has been overwhelming.
“The response from the audience, especially families, has been extraordinary. This is the best film of Ram Charan’s career, and the opening collections reflect that stature. I will remain forever indebted to Ram Charan for delivering such a huge blockbuster with the very first film I produced under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner,” he stated.
Mythri Movie Makers producer Ravi Shankar also expressed confidence in the film’s box-office prospects.
“We are witnessing tremendous momentum across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. We expect the collections to become even stronger over the weekend. The audience is embracing the film with the same enthusiasm that we had when we believed in the project. Ram Charan has delivered an extraordinary performance in Buchi Babu’s story. The film also carries an inspiring message and will be particularly beneficial for children. We encourage everyone to watch it with their families in theatres,” he said.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi features Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles and has opened to a strong response at the box office.
