The Andhra Pradesh government has announced COVID-19 restrictions amid concerns about the increase in COVID-19 cases.
Night curfew imposed in the state. Night curfew is effective from 11 am to 5am. And cinemas can only operate at 50 percent occupancy.
The new rules come as a big blow to the Telugu film industry. It affects the Sankranthi releases. Nagarjuna’s ‘Bangarraju’, Dil Raju’s ‘Rowdy Boy’s, Ashok Galla’s debut film ‘Hero’ and ‘Super Machi’ have lined up their releases for the festival.
