Pooja Hegde has recently been going through a rough patch. Despite numerous attempts, she has yet to taste success. In fact, she hasn’t had a single hit since 2021.
She hoped to reverse the trend with ‘Kisi Kaa Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,’ but her fortunes do not appear to have changed. The film, starring Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, was released worldwide yesterday. The first-day collections are underwhelming.
In India, the film grossed approximately Rs 14 crore (nett). The film’s opening day collections are a little low for a big star like Salman Khan. To post a respectable final figure, the film’s collections must increase today and tomorrow. However, it is unlikely to become a huge success. Pooja Hegde’s hopes of scoring a hit this year have thus been dashed.
She must now pin all her hopes on ‘SSMB28,’ her new film with Mahesh Babu. Trivikram is in charge of the direction.
The trend of flops for her continued with ‘Radhe Shyam’. ‘Beast,’ ‘Acharya,’ and ‘Cirkus’ came next. We’ll have to wait and see how ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ turns out.
