A producer reportedly encouraged her to “adjust” when offering her a role in a film, indicating that she sleep with him.
Anu Emmanuel stated that she handled the incident well and has refused to talk to him after that proposal. She also stated that she was fortunate to have the support of her family and friends in dealing with such incidents.
Anu Emmanuel is now promoting her upcoming Tamil film, Japan, which stars Karthi as the male lead. She did an interview in which she discussed the industry’s casting couch problem.
