Anupam Kher joins the cast of Prabhas’s Fauji

Anupam Kher, a veteran Bollywood actor with over 500 films to his credit, made his Telugu film three years ago. He is also busy acting in a couple of Telugu films lately. Now, he has joined the cast of a huge pan-Indian project starring Prabhas.

Hanu Raghavapudi, the director of Prabhas’s untitled period drama, has cast the award-winning actor in a key role. Anupam Kher shared pictures of himself with Prabhas and declared that he was delighted to act with Prabhas, the “Baahubali of Indian cinema.”

He also mentioned that it will be his 544th movie in his acting career.

Although “Fauji” is being considered as the tentative title, the makers have not announced it. Billed as a historical fiction drama, the story is set in the 1940s.
