Producer Ashwini Dutt is overjoyed with the response “Kalki 2898 AD” has received all around. Speaking to the media, he stated that he always trusts his directors’ visions and arranges what they want.
“That has been my style since my debut film, ‘Eduruleni Manishi’. I told my daughters Swapna and Priyanka to blindly believe Nag Ashwin and give him whatever budget he demanded for ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. I am pleased that we have a director with a big vision in my own family,” Ashwini Dutt said.
Director Nag Ashwin married Ashwini Dutt’s daughter, Priyanka.
Ashwini Dutt said that the sequel to “Kalki 2898 AD” is in the works and might be released next year if all goes as planned.
Following the success of the first film, the sequel, which stars Prabhas and an ensemble cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone, will be more grandiose and larger in scope. He stated that Kamal Haasan will now drive the story and get greater screen time.
