The title teaser of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda’ has garnered more than 30 million views. Buoyed by the response, director Boyapati has decided to plan the promotions more aggressively.
But before that, he needs to decide about the release date. May 28, which also happens to be late NT Rama Rao’s birth anniversary, has been chosen as the release date. But given the current pandemic situation, the shoots have been halted and it may not be possible for him to meet the deadline.
Plus, it is not clear whether the cases would go down in a month. So, ‘Akhanda’ may choose another date.
The film marks the third combination between Balakrishna and Boyapati. It has Pragya Jaiswal and Poorna as the female lead. Thaman is scoring the music.
