The ‘non-local controversy is raging in Tollywood after Prakash Raj had announced his decision of running for the president of MAA (Movie Artists Association). A section of movie artists has pointed out that Prakash Raj is not a Telugu person. He is a Kannadiga.
Reacting to this controversy, actor, and producer Bandla Ganesh made some sensational comments. He is part of Prakash Raj’s panel. “Prakash Raj lives in my town Shadnagar (30 km off Hyderabad). He had adopted a village there. The amount of development work he had done in our place speaks volumes about his service. It is silly to point out the local and non-local issue regarding Prakash Raj,” Bandla said.
He further mentioned that Prabhas, who hails from Hyderabad, is today a national star. Rajamouli is now ruling the entire Indian cinema industry. Are they not non-local to other movie industries, Bandla asked.
“It is time to come out old-school thoughts,” Bandla mentioned.
Prakash Raj is contesting the MAA Elections, which are to be held in September. Jayasudha, Srikanth, Sai Kumar, Ajay, Anasuya, Sana, Pragati, Suresh Kondeti, Brahmaji, and others part of Prakash Raj’s panel.
