The films that were to hit the screens for Sankranthi 2022 were – ‘Radhe Shyam’, ‘Bheemla Nayak’ and ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paat’. Later, Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ joined the race. But all these biggies got postponed for various reasons.
And finally, the only notable biggie that is hitting the screens for the Sankranthi festival is Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya starrer ‘Bangarraju’. The makers today announced its release date officially. The film will release in theaters worldwide on Jan 14, 2022.
Nagarjuna is taking advantage of the season and the situation.
The film is a sequel to the 2016 blockbuster ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, which was also released during the Sankranthi festival.
Ramya Krisha has played Nagarjuna’s wife, Krithi Shetty is Naga Chaitanya’s love interest. ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ fame Faria Abdullah has done an item number. Kalyan Kurasala has directed the film. Anup Rubens has composed the music. Zee Studios is co-producing the project with Annapurna Studios Pvt Ltd.
