Bollywood buzz: Mahesh Babu vs Prabhas!

Of late, Bollywood is showing more interest in Telugu stars. After T Series roped in Prabhas to play the lord Ram in ‘Adipurush’, there is a talk that another Bollywood producer is persuading Mahesh Babu to do the same.

According to Bollywood media, Bollywood producer Madhu Mantena has revived his old ‘Ramayan’ project and made Hrithik Roshan agree in essaying Raavan’s character and Deepika Padukone as Sita. So, he has now approached Mahesh Babu to do Lord Ram’s role.

This sounds unbelievable and looks like just a proposal on the paper. It is unlikely to be materialized.

This so-called Ramayan project was first announced three years ago by producer Allu Aravind in association with Madhu Mantena in the direction of Nitish Tiwari. It was later put into cold storage. Madhu Mantena doesn’t have such huge financial resources to produce this movie though he has connections with stars thanks to his Kwan agency.
