Samuthirakani is one of South India’s busiest actors. He portrays both negative and character roles with equal aplomb and is in high demand for all types of roles.
The 50-year-old actor rose to prominence in Telugu following the success of his roles in films such as “Ala Vaikunthapurramloo” and “Krack,” and swiftly became a viable option to performers such as Rao Ramesh and Prakash Raj.
He did, however, reduce his acting assignments in favor of his directorial debut, Bro.
“Bro,” starring Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej, was released in theaters on July 28 and is reaching the conclusion of its run. Samuthirakani directed this film, which he had been working on for the past six to seven months. So, he signed very few projects as an actor during this time period.
However, he will not direct any films for the next few years because he earns more money as an actor than as a filmmaker.
