Bulletin: Rahman was treated for dehydration

AR Rahman

AR Rahman, the Oscar-winning composer, was on Sunday morning admitted to Apollo hospitals after noticing pain in his chest. After a few hours of treatment, he was discharged, and the hospital issued a health bulletin.

“Mr. A. R. Rahman visited Apollo Hospitals Greams Road this morning with dehydration symptoms and got discharged after a routine check-up,” the bulletin said.

The 58-year-old music composer is currently recuperating at home. His son Ameen said his father was weak and dehydrated due to fasting.

“I am to share that he is doing well now. Your kind words and blessings mean a lot to us. We truly appreciate your concern and continued support. Much love and gratitude to you all,” he wrote.
