Case filed against Shwetha Menon for obscene films

A case has been registered against Malayalam actress Shwetha Menon by the Ernakulam Central Police for allegedly featuring in obscene films and advertisements, reportedly for financial gain.
The case was filed following a complaint by public activist Martin Menachery, who approached the Ernakulam CJM Court. The court directed the local police to initiate legal proceedings.
Shwetha Menon, best known for her roles in critically acclaimed Malayalam films such as Rathinirvedam, has been known as bold actress.
Swetha Menon also appeared in many Telugu films including “Anandam” (2001), “Juniors” (2003) and “Rajanna” (2011).
As of now, Shwetha Menon has not issued a public statement regarding the allegations.
