Raaka: Speculation grows over a possible glimpse video

Allu Arjun’s “Raaka” has been progressing quietly, far away from the usual buzz of the Telugu film industry. Very few updates have emerged from the project, mainly because director Atlee is filming the movie almost entirely on specially constructed soundstages in Mumbai.

Allu Arjun has been making frequent trips between Hyderabad and Mumbai to participate in the ongoing shoot. Recently, reports suggested that the film’s release has been pushed to December 2027. With nearly 16 months still left for its theatrical release, promotional activities are yet to begin in full swing.

However, fans are eagerly hoping for a glimpse of the film much earlier. Big-ticket projects such as NTR – Prashanth Neel’s “Dragon” and Mahesh Babu – Rajamouli ’s “Varanasi” have already unveiled promotional glimpses despite being slated for 2027 releases. This has raised expectations among Allu Arjun’s fans, who are looking forward to similar content from “Raaka.”

Industry buzz suggests that a special video glimpse may be released in August. However, the makers have not made any official announcement regarding this speculation.

“Raaka” is a big-budget sci-fi drama starring Allu Arjun, Deepika Padukone, and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. Janhvi Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna are also rumored to be part of the cast. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film features music composed by Sai Abhyankkar.
