Will Mahesh Babu and Trivikram team up again? The chances are slim. It is no secret that Mahesh Babu and Trivikram have drifted apart from being closest buddies. Plus, Trivikram is more interested in teaming up with other stars than Mahesh Babu.
But the superstar is still hopeful of their combination materializing soon. On the occasion of ‘Khaleja’, the second collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Trivikram that was a huge dud at the box-office, completing 10 years of its release, the superstar took to social media to share his views. He also said he is looking forward to team up with Trivikram soon.
The phrase ‘very soon’ in his tweet prompted speculations that they would work together again.
However, this combination may not happen in the near future for many reasons.
Trivikram and Mahesh Babu had first teamed up for ‘Athadu’, a cult classic. They have planned another film couple of years ago but didn’t materialize.
Trivikram will commence his next film with NTR early next year. Then he will team up with Ram Charan. Mahesh Babu, on the other hand, will begin working on Parusaram’s ‘Sakari Vaari Paata’ shortly. Then he can accommodate dates for Trivikram in the second half of 2021 if the star director agrees. In 2022, Mahesh Babu needs to move on to director Rajamouli’s project.
So, the chances for this combination of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram to happen are slender.
