Kiran Abbavaram’s upcoming romantic drama “Chennai Love Story” has completed its censor formalities, with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) awarding the film a U/A certificate ahead of its theatrical release on July 24.
Starring Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya in the lead roles, the film is directed by Ravi Namburi from a story written by Sai Rajesh. It is produced by SKN and Sai Rajesh under the Amrutha Productions and Mass Movie Makers banners.
According to the makers, members of the censor board appreciated the film’s emotional narrative and described it as a refreshing romantic entertainer. They reportedly praised its family-friendly storytelling and felt it stood apart from many recent films in the genre.
With the release just days away, the team has intensified promotions across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana through a series of events.
