Megastar Chiranjeevi has tested negative for COVID19 after multiple tests. The senior star announced on Monday that he contracted the coronavirus. But now, it is revealed that he didn’t test positive for COVID19 at all. The earlier result was due to a faulty testing kit.
On Thursday, he took to social media to announce that he is perfectly alright and has tested negative for the virus.
“A group of doctors did three different tests and concluded that I am Covid negative & that the earlier result was due to a faulty RT PCR kit. My heartfelt thanks for the concern, love shown by all of you during this time. Humbled,” Chiranjeevi posted on social media.
Now, the megastar can participate in the shoot of ‘Acharya’. The film’s shoot has resumed today in Hyderabad. Director Koratala Siva has planned a marathon shooting schedule until the first week of December.
Kajal Aggarwal will join the shoot later this month or next month. Produced by Niranjan Reddy, the movie has music by Mani Sharma.
