Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to reunite with director Bobby for the second time after the blockbuster “Waltair Veerayya.” The yet-untitled film (#Mega158) is expected to go on floors soon, with Chiranjeevi riding high on the success of “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu,” which has further boosted the team’s confidence.
Earlier, the makers had planned to trim the budget, considering the shrinking OTT market and fluctuating theatrical revenues. However, following the film’s strong box-office performance, the team has reportedly decided against major cuts and will instead mount the project on a reasonably lavish scale.
A popular senior actress is said to be cast opposite Chiranjeevi in a key role.
Adding an emotional layer, Chiranjeevi will be seen playing the father of a grown-up daughter in the film. A well-known young actress has been finalized to portray his daughter, and the deal has already been sealed. The Chiranjeevi–Bobby project will be produced by KVN Productions, with further details about the cast and crew expected to be announced soon.
