At last, the issue of the lead actress in Nagarjuna’s upcoming actioner has been resolved. After Kajal Aggarwal opted out owing to her pregnancy, the makers of ‘The Ghost’ have approached a couple of actresses.

Amala Paul almost signed the project, but she backed out later for reasons best known to her. Mehreen, too, did the same. And finally, Sonal Chauhan has come into the picture.
Sonal Chauhan has signed on the dotted line to play the female lead. She will play the role that was to be played by Kajal. This will be her first pairing up with Nagarjuna. Sonal had earlier acted with Nandamuri Balakrishna in two films.
She is also currently playing a key role in Venkatesh’s “F3”.
