Confusion prevails on Chiranjeevi’s next movies

Around this time last year, Megastar Chiranjeevi had announced his plans of taking three to four movies in a year. He was talking to the media when the lockdown was imposed in 2020. A year later, we are back to the square, with the second wave of corona taking thousands of lives. Lockdown is here again. 

Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’ has still not completed its shoot. So, confusion prevails over his next movies.

Directed by Koratala Siva, ‘Acharya’ was first scheduled to release in 2020. Owing to the pandemic, the film was delayed by a year. ‘Acharya’ was later rescheduled and it was slated to hit the theaters on May 13, 2021. The film has again been indefinitely been postponed.

Against this backdrop, Megastar Chiranjeevi has decided not to take any film to the sets this year. He earlier launched the Telugu remake of ‘Lucifer’ in the direction of Jayam Mohan Raja. The film may go to the sets when everything becomes normal. But the film is also facing casting issues.
