“Baby” had a strong opening day for a small film. “Baby,” starring Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, and Viraj, performed well at the box office both domestically and overseas.
The film is a love story directed by Sai Rajesh and produced by SKN. At a time when small films are struggling to get first-day openings, “Baby” drew young people to the theaters. The rough estimate is it grossed about Rs 5 crore on the first day worldwide.
The film grossed approximately $170k (Rs 1.40 crore) in the United States on day one (including premiere shows).
If the momentum continues, “Baby” will post a huge number in the first weekend itself. The trend on the second day is also encouraging.
