Dulquer Salmaan and Rana Daggubati’s “Kaantha” has opened to a modest Rs 4 crore India net on its first day. Though primarily shot in Tamil, the film released as a bilingual in both Tamil and Telugu. It earned around Rs 2.5 crore in Tamil Nadu and another Rs 1.5 crore from the Telugu states. This is an average start considering Dulquer Salmaan’s strong market presence.
