Vijay Deverakonda proved his stardom again. The opening for ‘Liger’ on the first day is terrific. In fact, the turnout of audiences for the morning shows and matinee shows was huge. But the negative talk spread fast, and this campaign affected the collections later in the day.
Still, “Liger” has collected nearly Rs 10 crore share from Telugu states. The film has raked in Rs 4.30 crore share from Telangana.
In the USA, the film grossed half a million dollars.
Overall, the Telugu version of ‘Liger’ has collected Rs 13.50 crore on the first day. The Hindi version hits the theaters today.
Directed by Puri Jagannadh, ‘Liger’ is a love story with action elements. The film received low ratings from critics.
