Teja Sajja’s “Mirai” opened to positive response from both critics and audiences, registering a strong box office performance on its first day (September 12). According to trade trackers, the film collected a whopping Rs 12 crore nett in India on opening day.
A massive 90% of the total collection came from the Telugu version, with over Rs 11 crore nett from the Telugu states alone. This is a significant achievement for Teja Sajja. This marks his second consecutive strong opening, following the success of “Hanu Man” last year.
