Nani’s “Saripodhaa Sanivaaram” has collected about Rs 16 crore (nett) in India in two days and grossed $1.1 million in the United States. It was a decent start for this movie.
The advance bookings for the third day appeared to be positive, as the weekend begins today. However, rains are going to play spoilsport for this film. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are already witnessing heavy rains.
The Indian Metrological Department issued a warning of heavy rains in the next 24 hours and asked people to stay indoors. Therefore, Hyderabad and other key business centers will experience a decline in the film’s collections.
“Saripodhaa Sanivaaram” needs to post big numbers on Saturday and Sunday, as distributors paid a lot of money to buy the rights.
