Despite flops, Krish has total support of Nandamuri Balakrishna
Director Krish has faced a challenging phase in his career, with his recent films – Kondapolam, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, and Ghaati – failing at the box office. Notably, “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” was only partially directed by him, and his portions received comparatively better reviews, but all three projects underperformed, putting significant pressure on the filmmaker.
Despite these setbacks, Krish has managed to retain the trust of Nandamuri Balakrishna. Having previously collaborated on three films, including the blockbuster “Gautamiputra Satakarni,” Krish enjoys a strong working relationship with Balakrishna. Confident in Krish’s abilities, Balayya has already greenlit their next venture.
The upcoming project is reportedly a sequel to the cult classic “Aditya 369,” exploring the intriguing theme of time travel. Pre-production is slated to begin next month, with principal photography expected to commence in the first quarter of 2026.
Meanwhile, Balakrishna will also start shooting for director Gopichand Malineni’s film during Dasara, working on both projects in parallel.
Krish feels relieved and encouraged that Balakrishna stood by his promise, despite the poor performance of “Ghaati,” and looks forward to delivering another memorable film.
