“Devera,” starring NTR as the hero, is now in production. The film’s shooting is progressing at rapid pace in Hyderabad. The first installment will hit theaters in April 2024.

“As I said earlier, the film is set against the forgotten lands of coastal India. The canvas is too big. So, as we started shooting the film, the canvas started revealing itself bigger and bigger. Every character in the film has its own weight. It needs to be explored in depth and detail. Since we can’t justify it in one part, we took the decision of telling this big story in two parts. The story won’t change in shape but will thrive in scale. And April 5th is just the beginning,” he said.

Jhanvi Kapoor plays the female lead. Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is the antagonist. Produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni and co-produced by Harikrishna K, “Devara” is one of the most-awaited films.
