Dhanush in and as Sir, title unveiled

Tamil actor Dhanush is entering Tollywood. In the New Year 2022, we will see him in a first straight Telugu film. The film has been titled ‘Sir’. The film’s Tamil title is ‘Vaathi’. 

Directed by Venky Atluri, the film’s title look was unveiled today.

The film is said to be a message-oriented film against the backdrop of the education system. The makers say it is an ambitious journey of a common man.

Samyuktha Menen plays the female lead opposite Dhanush. GV Prakash Kumar provides the music.

Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are bankrolling the project. The film will commence its regular shoot in early 2022.
